Student Life Campus Events & Signature Weekends

Our Signature Weekends are planned every year by a group of student leaders called the Campus Activities Board. The themes and activities will vary from year to year, but this can serve as a general outline for the annual events.

Information below is subject to change. For more information, contact Student Life at 913-360-7500 or Catherine Kluempers as the event draws nearer.

Lil’ Sibs Weekend

The Raven family is bigger than just the students, faculty, staff, and alumni; the Raven family also includes the families of those mentioned. The Benedictine College Campus Activities Board invites the sisters and brothers of Benedictine students to enjoy a weekend at the college.

The Student Life Office has made the decision that there will be no overnight stays in the residence halls during Lil Sibs Weekend 2022. There will be various activities for students and their siblings to participate in on campus and in Atchison, but we will not be able to welcome siblings into the halls for the overnights. Families should make accommodations off-campus for lodging. Benedictine College does not provide transportation for the weekend.

Activities for the weekend generally include:

  • Friday evening activity or entertainment
  • Saturday Lacrosse, Softball, and Baseball games (when possible)
  • Saturday – Vigil Mass at 4:00 p.m. at St. Benedict’s Abbey
  • Saturday evening activity or entertainment
  • Sunday Morning Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict’s Abbey
